The Network on Classical Tradition in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance was launched in September 1991 and it was completed in September 1994.

The Network on Classical Tradition in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance focuses on the major aspects of the classical tradition: the reception of classical texts (manuscripts discoveries, circulation, translations), the scholarship (glosses and commentaries, textual criticism) and the impact of classical myth and literature.
