The Network Committee serves as an advisory body to the Executive Council of the ESF on Network-related matters. The principal tasks of the Committee are to review proposals and make recommendations concerning the selection of new Networks and to conduct evaluations of completed Networks.
The Network Committee is composed of four members of the ESF Executive Council plus the Chairmen of the ESF Standing Committees responsible for board areas of science.

The series contains documents relating to the activity of the Network Committee, mainly reports and documents of meetings, Network proposals and final reports, information documents concerning the Network Scheme and definition of procedures for the management of the Networks.
