Context
The Network on Molecular Dynamics of Biomembranes was approved by the ESF Executive Council in March 1991 and it was completed in March 1994.
The Chairman was Professor Walter Neupert, from the University of Munich.
Content and Structure
The aim of the Network on Molecular Dynamics of Biomembranes is to simulate interdisciplinary studies on the molecular description of membrane dynamics in the selected area of the assembly and bio-genesis of membranes.
The dossier contains correspondence and documents concerning: Network proposal; first meeting of the Coordination Committee, Amsterdam, 17 May 1991; meeting of the Coordination Committee, Strasbourg, 22 April 1992; meeting of the Coordination Committee, Heidelberg, 1 March 1993; Study Centre on "Biomembrane structure, function and dynamics", Oxford, 16-20 March 1992 (1 photograph); Study Centre, Utrecht, 19-23 Oct 1992; Study Centre, Luso (Coimbra), 6-15 April 1994.
