The Groundwater pollution (Gpoll) is a long-term programme (1998-2001) aiming at promoting multi-national, inter-disciplinary research on pollution of groundwater by chemical substances, radionuclides and by excess nutrients.
Gpoll fellowships will enable talented scientists to spend up to 6 months in a foreign laboratory, international workshops will review recent discoveries, practical advances and emerging themes, and during the second or third year larger Symposium will take place.
