Abstract

This Study of the European Artic Shelf programme, launched at the 1990 General Assembly was the natural follow-up to the successful experience ESF had in the field of marine biology with the European Polarstern Study (EPOS).
The plan is to carry out investigation on the Arctic shelfs in the fields of oceanography, biology and marine geology.
