Demonstrates the important work of interpreters for international understanding, in particular for the work of the European Communities. The exchange of ideas and intention is hardly possible without proper language skills. Therefore, interpreters are the essential and irreplaceable link between the various partners at the conference table. The film shows young interpreters at a rehearsal for simultaneous and consecutive translations.
