With the help of the European Economic Community (EEC), a campaign war organized by African states to stamp out rinderpest in the Lake Chad region. Operations took place simultaneously in the four countries bordering the lake. Chad, Niger, Nigeria and Cameroon. The film shows a vaccination team in their efforts to rid the area of this terrible scourge, a task in which veterinary doctor and nurses work under the auspices of the EEC’s European Development Fund.
