Item 1: Draft agenda of the thirteenth meeting of the Committee of Experts. Item 2: Draft minutes of the twelfth meeting of the Committee of Experts, 24-25 November 1982. Minutes detail the examination of the second draft of the 1983 work programme (p.1), the preliminary views of the Committee on the 1985-1988 four-year rolling programme (p.5), and the clarification on the current composition of the Committee 'The Director mentioned that the number of members of the Committee would not be increased in connection with the entrance of Greece and other new Member States. This would mean that the numbers of German, French and UK members would have to be reduced successively when members from the new Member States were appointed' (p.8). Item 4: Report, by Eirlys Roberts, on the seminar on the 'Relationship between working time and leisure time', 17-18 February 1983. In her report Eirlys Roberts states that 'Virtually no work has been carried out in Europe on this subject' and that the groups' discussion on the subject was 'constructive and peaceful. In his note Nielsen outlines what the strategy for the Foundation should consist of including the 'conflict between research in working conditions and research in living conditions' (p.2). 13pp. English only.
