Context
The Network was approved by the ESF Network Group in May 2000 for a three-year period.
The Chairman was Dr. Adrian P. Jones from University College of London.
Content and Structure
The Network focuses on: mantle carbon; carbonatite; commercial exploitation of carbonatite deposits; newly discovered carbonatite rocks; materials that carry mantle carbon through the crust to surface; location and timing of carbon transfer from mantle to crust.
The dossier contains correspondence on the establishment and management of the Network: proposal, research assessment, general correspondence, final report.
