The Network on "Genetic susceptibility to environmental toxicants" was approved by the ESF Executive Council in September 1998 for a three-year period.
The Chairman was Professor Herman Autrup, from University of Aarhus.

Content and Structure

Abstract

The Network on "Genetic susceptibility to environmental toxicants" aims to analyse the interplay between genes and the environment in determining an individual's risk of disease. It studies the gene-environment interactions and tries to identify the groups and types of individual at risk from particular environmental toxicants.
