Context
The Network was approved by the ESF Executive Council in September 1998 for a three-year period.
The Chairman was Professor Ugo Bardi, from University of Florence.
Content and Structure
Main topics discussed by the Network are: characterisation of film growth in the atomic layer process (ALE); mechanisms of deposition in the various versions of ALE; optimisation of existing ALE fabrication methods; novel materials with special optical, electronic and magnetic properties.
