Item 1: Draft agenda of the twenty-third meeting of the Bureau. Item 2: Draft minutes of the twenty-second meeting of the Bureau, 19 March 1981. Minutes record the preparation for the Board meeting to be held on 20 March 1981 (p.2) and the Bureau meeting with the Chairperson of the Staff Committee of the Foundation in which the 'serious situation in which the Foundation staff found themselves as regards social security and the slowness of procedures' was discussed and the Bureau members 'assured the Staff representatives that the matter was receiving their full attention, that they were aware of the gravity of the situation and that they would do everything in their power to speed up the procedure' (p.5). 5pp. Item 3: Document outlining the 'changes in the implementation of the 1981 work programme.' Document states that a number of changes are proposed regarding the implementation of the 1981 work programme because of 'the distribution of the decreased financial appropriations for research promotion ... the consequent transfer to 1982 of the projects that cannot therefore be implemented in 1981, i.e. they will be included in the Work Programme for 1982.' Document also lists the nine projects that will be affected by the change in implementation and describes how each project will be affected ''This project will be postponed until the funding is available to undertake research at Community level ... This project can now be extended to Italy, Benelux and the United Kingdom, and maybe Greece.' 2pp. Item 4: First draft of the work programme for 1982, of the Administrative Board.
