The Copernicus Coordinating Committee (CoCoCo) was appointed by CRE Permanent Committee in September 1989, and was then chaired by prof. Jan Nilsson. Its role was to ensure the coordination of activities and goals between Copernicus and the CRE.

The files are usually composed of at least one of these documents: correspondence, working documents, agenda, minutes and final reports.
