The Network run from 1 July 2002 to 30 June 2005.
The Chairman was Dr. Peter J. van Dijk, from Netherlands Institute of Ecology.

The Network aims to bring together European scientists working on parthenogenesis in taxonomically very diverse organisms, such as researchers on apoximis in plants and researchers on parthenogenesis in animals.

The dossier contains general correspondence; scientific report of the exploratory workshop, held in Wageningen, The Netherlands, on 5-8 Oct 2001; Network proposal; correspondence concerning the establishment of the Network and the organisation of the meetings and activities; report of the Coordination Committee meeting, held in Valencia, on 15 April 2004; final report.
It also contains documents concerning workshops: report of the first workshop on "Asexuality and timescales", held in Wageningen, The Netherlands, on 20-23 Nov 2003; summary of the second workshop on "Origin and spread of asexuals", held in Valencia, on 16-18 April 2004; scientific report, abstracts and list of participants of the third workshop on "Diversity in asexuals – patterns and processes", held in Muenster, on 6-10 Oct 2004; programme and budget of the fourth workshop on "The paradox of asexuality: an evaluation", held in London, on 22-24 Sep 2005.
