Context
The Network was approved by the ESF Network Group in May 2002 for a three-year period.
The Chairman was Professor Marco Beretta, University of Bologna.
Content and Structure
Main topics of the Network are: scientific instruments and their preservation; preservation and enhancement of naturalistic collections; from scientific archive to the public, the importance of records of laboratory protocols as examples of vital archives; the application of new technologies in providing public access to exhibits and information relating to scientific heritage.
