Content and Structure
Claims that Europe did not play any political role after the Second World War. The European continent experienced misery and distress, and both victors and defeated suffered. But international solidarity as well as the political initiatives helped to ensure the first steps towards a European cooperation. But the film - commissioned by the federal Europa-Union – criticizes that the efforts did not go far enough. The European Youth Movements seek a true united Europe without any frontiers.
