Since 1973, annual meetings between Japan and ESRO (later ESA) have been held to discuss common strategies and projects and to enhance cooperation in the fields of space science, Earth observation, telecommunications and space station.
The meetings are held alternately in Japan and in Europe, involving both NASDA/JAXA and ISAS.

The sub-series contains minutes, agendas, correspondence, working documents and papers concerning ESA/Japan annual meetings.
