New accrual (files 31152 to 31166) contains a kind of permanent documents, which regarded each of the offices inter-relating with external relations. Main subjects were correspondence between Chinese scientists and ESA Directors about exchange of information, training stages, visits; notes and correspondence in preparation of agreements; reports about informal meetings and mutual visits; reports about Chinese programmes and policies. In addition, press cuttings and handwritten notes served as useful tools for illustrating the affairs.
