The European Space Conference of Rome in July 1967 setted up this Committee. The Chairman directed the activities of the two sub-committees, Technical and Economic respectively. The task of the Advisory Committee on Programmes was to study the field of possible European cooperation and to elaborate frame proposals in selected areas, at high degree of feasibility for the European effort.
