The CRE mid-term conference is a slightly enlarged bi-annual meeting approximately half-way through the quinquennium, to enable more CRE members than usual to take part in the discussions. The structure of this meeting resembles that of a General Assembly and is open to all members wishing to take part. The file contains preparatory correspondence, the programme and list of participants and discussion groups of the mid-term conference, the minutes of the 73rd meeting of the Permanent Committee (23.09), the minutes of the 1st Joint Session between the CRE Bureau and the Liaison Committee Presidium (23.09), working documents (including budget reports), press cuttings, press releases, as well as transcripts of speeches and the papers and summary reports of the four discussion groups. Also included are documents related to the roundtable organized to conclude the group discussions (25.09) named ‘The social role of the university in tomorrow’s world’.
