The minutes of the Executive Committee along with the Council minutes form the main body of the OEEC material and are a crucial starting point to understanding the OEEC as a whole, and its various committees and working parties, as they give testimony to the meetings of the Executive Committee, which examines all questions to be submitted to the Council. The issues discussed at Executive Committee level were supported by working papers formulated by the many working parties and committees. These working papers are listed with a reference code number in the minutes and can be searched via this code to get the text of the working paper, e.g. CE(49)005.
