Archivist Notes

The interview exists only as a digital audio recording. The interviewee considers Lima and Chimbote in Peru and Machala in Ecuador her places of origin; Fiaba recieved Ecuadorian citizen and renounced her Peruvian citizenship following a childhood move to Ecuador with her mother. It is for this reason that her drawings of traditional costumes (BABE-020) include both Peruvian and Ecuadorian costumes as a way to demonstrate her dual cultural identity. The black and white drawing, available only as a digial copy, is the first draft made during the first interview. Fiaba was introduced by Luisa Passerini while attending the CTP Gabelli in 2013 (BABE-156). See participant observations (BABE-051) from the end of the CTP Gabelli course.
