Killa was born in Lima in 1986 and reunited with her mother when the latter arrived in Turin in 2003 when Killa was 17. She holds a degree in tourism sciences from the Università degli Studi di Torino and was president of the cultural association EsPerTo (Estudiantes peruanos de Turín). In 2015 she moved to Barcelona in order to pursue a Master's degree in sociology. It should also be noted that Killa transcribed the interview with Antony (BABE-013).The audio recording is not complete. The name Killa, which means moon, was choosen by the interviewee for privacy.
