Killa was born in Lima in 1986 and reunited with her mother when the latter arrived in Turin in 2003 when Killa was 17. She holds a degree in tourism sciences from the Università degli Studi di Torino and was president of the cultural association EsPerTo (Estudiantes peruanos de Turín). In 2015 she moved to Barcelona in order to pursue a Master's degree in sociology. The production of the witness correspondes as following: 1 list of quechua words.

See other individual and collective interviews carried out in Turin (BABE-01 and BABE -02), the individual's interview and participation in the manifestation "Ni una más" in Barcelone (BABE-03), the interview with her mother Ana Cecilia Ponce and grand-mother during the 2015 Peruvian political elections (BABE-006). Parts of the September 18 2014 interview were cited in the volume of European Sites of Memory entitled "external borders of Europe" which is currently being revised. Excerpts from the interviews with Killa (BABE-001, BABE-002, BABE-003) have been used in a BABE documentary entitled "Non posso dire di essere peruviana, ma un miscuglio" (Italy, 32', 2016, Giulia Cinisselli and Leslie Hernández Nova). The name Killa, which means moon, was choosen by the interviewee for privacy.
