Content and Structure
Glimpses of the complex building of the Rhine valley throughout the ages. Shows the fate of the peoples and people on both banks of the Rhine. The central point is Strasbourg, also as a symbol of European unity. The stream thus becomes the constant flow of life and of history. Its movements shall help us to condemn wars and strife for peace.
