Abstract

The Program on Musical Life in Europe 1600-1900 aims to study the processes of production, distribution, communication, and reception of musical works as well as their forms of transmission and circulation.
The program will run for four years (1998-2001) and is supported by research councils and academies of science. Travel grants are being offered.
