Abstract

The Executive Committe has given broad general approval to the development of a programme in the History of Science.
In June 1991 the Standing Committee for the Humanities approved the suggestion from one of its member that a Scientific programme in the History of Chemistry should be devised.
The proposal of the programme has been presented and fully approved at the Executive Council meeting in September 1992.
