Content and Structure
Explains the work of the Council of Europe and illustrates the signing ceremony of the ‘European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms‘ on 4 November 1950.
In a second part of the film which was produced on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the European Convention, Des lois pour toute l’Europe was extended with filmed photographies of historical documents and engravings such as the ‘Declaration of Rights of Man and of the Citizen’ (1789) and the ‘Declaration of Human Rights’ (1948).
