Abstract

Jan van der Hoeven filmed typical activities in and around Amsterdam on a Sunday. Some people attending church, others go for a walk in the nature. Children play in the street or wait until the car is ready to go for a Sunday drive. Spontaneously and playfully, he creates an atmospheric description of a Sunday in the sixties. The film is part of the film series "Pastime" commissioned by the Western European Union / Council of Europe.
