The 'Software for Validation of Engineers Skills Validation ' is a two-years project selected by the European Commission in the frame of the first objective of its White Book in 1996 'Encourage the Acquisition of New Knowledge'. It aims at promoting an international recognition of the requested knowledge in statistitcs in order to contribute in favouring professional mobility in Europe

The project was jointly lead by the CRE, the European Society for Engineering Education and the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities.
