The accrual contains mostly the correspondence between the ESA offices and several actors representing Austrian interests, namely Ministries, regional and local administrations, universities, seldom industries. The relations started when Austria was not a ESA member state. Main subjects were updating on programmes, financial situation and space policy. The conspicuous presence of institutional files made necessary the introduction of the limit in access of 30 years that into force in Austrian historical archives.
