Content and Structure
The Academic Advisory Council is made up of a maximum of twenty members who are appointed for two years by the Chairman of the Board of Management and have the task of setting up research projects, encourage their implementation and possible publication and holding academic events upon approval of the Board of Management. Members have to have an appropriate academic qualification and have proved their interest in banking, financial and business history.
Herman van der Wee, Gabriel Tortella Casares, Philip L. Cottrell, Gerald D. Feldman, Peter Hertner and Harold James have been chairman of the AAC.
