The General Secretariat is the neuralgic centre of the EABH. It implements, manages and co-ordinates the initiatives and inputs coming from various instances, ensures follow-ups and contacts on all levels.

The series groups the general correspondence by EABH's Deputy Chairman, Secretary General and staff with member organisations and individuals, potential and former members, the collection of leaflets and some accounting documents. The files relate to the realization of the publications, the organisation of the conferences, seminars, workshops etc and include the files relating to the 'Young Scholar Prizes' awarded in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005.
