Abstract

In 1974, Sir Harrie Massey (one of the founding fathers of COPERS) and other senior scientists created, in the frame of the European Science Foundation sited in Strasbourg, a provisional Space Science Advisory Board. This Group undertook and indipendent action of pressure over ESA in the related field. ESA members attended its meetings.
