Opinions from individuals, the History Department, the Library and the Academic Council on the 'Profile Report' made by the joint committee appointed by the High Council. The topics concern the object of research and the support of researchers for the years 1979-1981, notably: the shift to strictly defined research topics and projects (transformation of the EUI into a research institute), the creation of an independent Research Council, the creation of a European community of students and scholars, the situation of researchers, professors and staff, the competence of the High Council and the Academic Council.
