Content and Structure
Describes the possibilities and problems of a union of all Western European countries from a British point of view, and explains the various steps which have been taken so far: Western European Union, Council of Europe, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). With a united Europe, the Western continent is not only protected against the perils of war and communism but also democracy and diversity will be secured. It is one of the first films promoting the idea of a united Europe.
