The fonds was deposited at the HAEU in 2004 by Ms Koschka Hetzer-Molden (Vienna), under the terms of a deposit contract signed on 10 December 2003 between Otto Molden's assignees, represented by Koschka Hetzer-Molden, and the HAEU, represented by their Director Jean-Marie Palayret.

The documents present in this fonds pertains mainly to Otto Molden's political and federalist activities and include, among others, correspondence, minutes of founding meetings and those of the statutory bodies, membership lists, publicity material (poster, banners etc), and preparatory material for elections. It also contains material collated by Otto Molden for his publicist activities, as well as correspondence in the framework of the "Internationales Komitee für Europäisch-Chinesische Zusammenarbeit", concerning Alpbach, the fonds comprises published brochures, lists of events and people attending them.

Academic utilisation and partial reproduction (in the form of photocopies only) of the documents is authorized in accordance with the provisions in force at the HAEU.
