Memos from Hopkins to the President and Hull, regarding Giraud's request that Monnet go to Algiers, to lock into supplies issue for French army. - Letter from Roosevelt to General Eisenhower, concerning Monnet's mission, feels he would be useful to Giraud, Robert Murphy, American Diplomat and his British counterpart, MacMillan in dealing with question of requirements of French troops in relation to overall Allies requirements.
