'L'Asociación de residentes de Ica Turín-Italia' was founded on October 5, 2012 and opened with an event promoted by artist Nelly Ramírez, one of the founding members of the association. The production of the witness correspondes as following: 4 videos of performances of traditional dances; 1 pisco shower video contest; 1 video presentation by the initiative; 19 photographs.

Leslie Nancy Hernández Nova was invited to the cultural event by Nelly Ramírez, one of the organizers and an artist whose work was displayed during the event (BABE-021, 022, 023). Alessandro Ramos performed a marinera dance (BABE-026, 027, 028) while Miguel Ballumbriosio performed a traditional dance from the Ica area (see his individual interview from the event, BABE-050). Nataniel (BABE-031) was nominated as 2014 vintage queen and performed a dance; Jack (pseudonym, BABE-048) documented the initiative for Peru Mondo, a Turin cultural association. A contest to recreate a Ica Pisco cocktail was held during the event. Each of the individuals participating in interviews signed a release form except Miguel Ballumbriosio.
