Angel Viñas deposited the originals of his personal papers related to his European career at the HAEU under the terms of a deposit contract signed on 13 July 2005 by the depositor and the HAEU, represented by the Director Jean-Marie Palayret.

This fonds reflects the career of Angel Viñas within the European Commission (DG1A) from his position as Director for Asia and Latin America Affairs and then as Head of the EC Delegation to the UN to his position as Director for Multiateral Relations in the Commission and finally in the Directorate dealing with Human Rights.

The system of arrangement is organic.
