Abstract
The file contains the dossier submitted to the Preparatory Commission for a European Science Foundation composed of correspondence, reports, site maps, brochures and photographs B/W (13 street views and Cloître des Récollets of proposed site in Strasbourg).
It includes also notes and correspondence exchanged between members of the Preparatory Commission and the 'Conseil National de la recherche scientifique (CNRS)', notably with Guy Ourisson, J. Mirabel and Jean-Pierre Roth; also letter by Pierre Pflimlin, mayor of Strasbourg on the establishment of the ESF headquarters in Strasbourg (1/2/1974).
