Content and Structure
The fonds consists of documents written and collected by Hendrik de Bruijn. These documents cover the period from 1940 to 1968 with the earliest documents being notes and university minutes of the young de Bruijn and the more recent records, by far the largest number, concerning the OECD High temperature Reactor Project 'Dragon'.
Since de Bruijn was head of the research division of the 'Dragon Project', documents are mostly of scientific physical and physiochemical interest.
The fonds contains also a large number of 'Dragon Project Reports', the minutes of the meetings of the board of management of the project (1960-1965) and correspondence exchanged with the different national research centres taking part to the project.
