During his service with the European Commission, Kevin Leydon served in senior management positions in the DGs for Transport and Energy. In late 2002 he was detached to the Office of the Houses of the Irish Parliament as advisor to Deputy John Bruton, former Prime Minister, who was a member of the Praesidium of the Convention on the Future of Europe. Mr.Leydon was the Permanent Representative of the Irish Parliament in Brussels from 2004 to June 2007.
