Jörg Friedrichs is a former Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence from September 2006 to August 2007. He completed his PhD thesis on International Relations with Prof. Friedrich Kratochwil at the University of Munich. His publications include “European Approaches to International Relations theory: A House with Many Mansions”, published in 2004, "Fighting Terrorism and Drugs: Europe and International Police Cooperation", published in September 2007, and “The Future Is Not What It Used to Be: Climate Change and Energy Scarcity”, published in 2013. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford.
