Bronisław Geremek was presented the Medal on the 25th anniversary of the priesthood of Henryk Jankowski (1936-2010), a priest involved in supporting activities of Solidarity union in Gdańsk.

The bronze Medal of a diameter of 8.5 cm is placed in a red box with an inscription: 'Amor Meus Crucificux Est. Św. Brygida' with a red ribbon inside. The face of the Medal portaits Henryk Jankowski with an inscription: 'Obrońca Praw Człowieka i Solidarności'. The revers presents the Saint Bridget Church with a logo of Solidarity union and an inscription: '25 lat kapłaństwa ks. H. Jankowskiego Gdańsk 1989'.
