The silver Medal (diameter of 10cm) is placed in a black box(18/18/2.5cm) with a golden lock and an inscription 'J. Balme Saumur France' inside. The face of the Medal present the seat of Ouest-France journal with inscriptions: 'Justice et liberté' and 'Ouest-France' (in gold). The reverse of the Medal includes an inscription: 'Le journal est au service de l'homme, au service des personnes et des communautés qui constituent la société, François Régis Hutin' and inscriptions: 'Justice et liberté' and 'Ouest-France' (in gold).
