The bronze Medal (diameter of 6cm) is placed in a black box (8.5/8.5/2cm). The face of the Medal presents the map of the world composed of little roses and an inscription: '1 International Andrei Sakharov Memorial Congress. Peace, progress and human rights. May 21-25 1991, Moscow'. The reverse of the Medal portraits Andrei Sakharov 1921-1989'.
