The silver Medal (diameter of 7.5cm) is placed in a dark blue box (10cm/10cm/2.5cm) which has an inscription 'Lyon-Dardilly' inside. The face of the Medal presents Hotel de Matignon with an inscription 'Hotel de Matignon. Le premier ministre Lionel Jospin'. The reverse of the Medal holds an inscription: 'A Son Excellence Monsieur Bronisław GEREMEK, Ministre des Affaires Etrangères de la République de Pologne, 15 juillet 1998'.
