The stone sculpture is composed of a piedestal (7/14/6cm) with two leaf-shaped metal elements on the top of a height of 8.5 cm (one of the elements is detached). A plaque attached to the body of the sculpture holds an inscription: 'Central European University. Open Society Prize to Bronisław Geremek 2001'. The bottom surface of the sculpture holds a name of the sculptor and a date: 'Kurt Gebauer 1999'.
