The silver plaque (20/16cm) is placed in the dark blue box (23/19/3cm) was manufactured by Picchiani e Barlacchi in Florence. The face of the plaque includes an inscription 'A Bronislaw Geremek la Facoltà di Scienze politiche "Cesare Alfieri" un riconoscimento dei suoi meriti per l'affermazione della democrazia in Polonia e in Europa. Firenze, 4 Dicembre 2007'.
